The rings in this planner can be removed to flex as an A5 notebook cover. It will fit an A5 notebook (with clear cover on) ie hobo cousin, common planner, etc. it is very spacious for a notebook cover. There is more than plenty of room for side tabs and for your notebook to bulk up over the course of the year.
